Like music reviews and recommendations?
Check out a new site “The Album Project” @ www.albumproject.wordpress.com
We (and by “We”, I mean myself) put pieces of articles and other stuff on the site to go along with the posts. For example when posting a news article I tend to post the first part of a relevant part of the article and then a link to the rest. Sometimes I feel its hard to tell right away which is copied & pasted and which is my comments on the story. I think I’ll be trying out the use of colors to make it easy to read.
Let me know what you think.
Clue 1: It will be free
<—– Have you checked out all the band interviews that we have? You can find them if you look on the left hand side at the top under “Navigation”
What other bands would you like to see answer some questions?
Any comments on keeping the new banner or using the old one?
Thanks to Steven from Grey Holiday for the help. Be sure to check out the band, they are great.
I guess everyone is outside on their day off. Anyone listening to any new music that’s any good?
Any bands interested in doing an interview for the site please contact me though email (Tyler@drivenfaroff.com) or through our Virb page
All the posts (from the main page) will now be available the same time they are on here, on our Virb.com page as well.

Take the Poll Right Here
The web is a great tool for sharing ideas and freedom of expression. However, efforts to try and control the Internet are growing. Internet repression is reported in countries like China, Vietnam, Tunisia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Syria. People are persecuted and imprisoned simply for criticizing their government, calling for democracy and greater press freedom, or exposing human rights abuses, online.

I’ve seen the “more important than music” banner on a bunch of different people’s myspace pages, thanks so much for the support.
we want feedback too, is there anything you’d like to hear about, or ways we can improve the site people leave some comments.
If there is anyone out there that is gifted in the design area and would like to lend their skills to design some banners please get in contact with me, or let a friend know.
Any band members interested in contributing posts to the site please email me. If you represent, or know anyone in a band please pass this along.
You can now get to this site at http://whatsmoreimportant.org
We have a cool new banner, if you’d like to add it to your myspace, or website then we support and encourage that.

I came across this site (Click4thecause) today which donates money to www.ninemillion.org every time a search is done. Live.com is not a site I normally use, but thought I might give it a try. Here’s an opportunity to help in an everyday kind of way.
“This Music Saves Lives promotion is just one of many that ties in the ultimate goal of raising over 30,000 units of blood this summer in the USA. Every summer the blood supply across the nation drops to critical levels. This is primarily due to the fact that almost 30of the blood supply comes from college and high schools. During the summer, when school is not in session, many areas in the nation suffer. A low blood supply can result in postponed surgeries, and can be life threatening in critical trauma situations and to cancer patients after treatments.”
The two posts from Dan Koch are from the old page and are to get things rolling. He was the one to originally put the idea of this site in motion. He along with many more will continue to contribute to the site.
